Crystal Chalmers, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Crystal Chalmers, Au.D., is a Doctor of Audiology, the owner of North State Audiological Services, and a Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser (State of California Hearing aid Dispenser’s Examining Committee).

Dr. Chalmers studied and received her Master’s of Science in clinical audiology from Minot State University, North Dakota, in 1981. From there she conducted her clinical Fellowship in San Francisco and in 1983 received her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

In 1995, Dr. Chalmers established North State Audiological Services in Chico, and in 2008 completed and successfully defended her dissertation and graduated from Central Michigan University, earning the title of Doctor of Audiology. Her dissertation was published in June of 2008.

From marketing the practice to doing maintenance on the building, Ed Migale wears a lot of hats at North State Audiological Services.

We call this professional communicator – and Dr. Chalmers’ husband of 25 years – our “Support Staff”. Ed would say he’s “just there to help the team help our patients, whenever and wherever needed.”

Theresa Moore

Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser

In the last three years Theresa Moore’s ascent from entry level front office person to becoming a licensed hearing aid dispenser has been nothing short of amazing. But it wasn’t easy. Once she decided she wanted to have a career in hearing health care, Theresa studied long and diligently under Dr. Chalmers nearly every single day for 2 years.

Theresa’s contributions to our office and the level of care she provides patients continue to expand and impress.
