Local Doctor of Audiology to Provide Free Hearing Screenings

During the Month of May

The month of May is “National Better Hearing Month” and in observance of this public awareness campaign Crystal Chalmers, Au.D., Doctor of Audiology will be providing free hearing screenings during the entire month of May.

“For the past 16 years I have been setting aside one full day each May to offer people in our community with free hearing screenings,” said Dr. Chalmers, owner of North State Audiological Services in Chico. “However, as not everyone who wanted to attend could be available for that one-day event, this year we will be offering this free service all month long.   Anyone is welcome, but appointments are required,” noted Dr. Chalmers.

These free hearing screenings will be performed by Dr. Chalmers in her office, which is located at 15 Jan Court off of Forest Avenue near the Raley’s Sky Park shopping center in southeast Chico.   There is no cost or obligation, but advance appointments are required.  To schedule an appointment call North State Audiological Services toll-free at 1 (888) 844-7024.
